It's matter of life :New diagnostic test that clearly finds Aldehyde in blood in rare disease Fanconi anemia

Fanconi anemia is disease that cause sever depletion of hemoglobin carrying red blood cells  in our body due to increase in adehyde concentration in blood, due to which DNA in cells that help to reproduce red blood cell get damaged.
This type of disease occurre in 1 in 100000 individuals and hence this is called as rare disease.
Person affected with the disease do not get any treatment option as there is no test as of now to identify and quantity Aldehyde in blood sample.
Aldhyde tend to escape from blood sample by forming gas hence it's sampling technique too is tricky requires specific sampler that prevent aldhyde from going in to gaseous state.
Scientists at Stanford medicine have developed a chemical known as Darkzone with which aldehydes binds and glows emitting light so that the presence of Aldehyde in blood can be identified and quantified. With this development there can be some therapy designed to treat this disease.
