The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) will shut down water supply for 24 hours on September 8, 2023, for carrying out maintenance work on the water supply network. The water supply will be shut down from 6 am on September 8 to 6 am on September 9.

The TMC has said that the water supply will be affected in parts of Thane city, including Wagle Estate, Vartak Nagar, Naupada, Kalwa, and Bhiwandi. The corporation has advised citizens to store water in advance to avoid inconvenience.
